Seasons on a Ranch

The book takes one on a journey through the seasons of a working cattle ranch in Northern Wyoming. The reader lives alongside the author and her family as they trail cattle to haul to market and fight biting winter cold and fierce blizzards. Written from the perspective of a rancher and a woman the book gives a much different perspective than the usual books on ranching written by men. It also takes place in the modern day world where trailers have replaced long horseback rides and pickups have replaced hay wagons drawn by horse. Still much is the same in ranching as it was 100 years ago.
