Royce Romilly is the second son. He wasnt supposed to inherit. But when tragedy strikes taking the lives of his parents and his secret love who before her death was nearly engaged to his brother Royce sees no other option than to take his handful of trustworthy servants and addle-brained older brother to a new secluded manor house. When Juliet enters a forbidden area of the house in her perusal to find the other captured young ladies she gets run-down by Maxence and Royce comes to her rescue. Threves is certain that Royce is the man abducting the women in the region. One morning Royce wakes to find out Juliet has gone missing. He instructs a search and as one event leads to the next Royce finds himself in life-threatening trouble. Juliet finds herself in the middle of it all and though she does all she can to protect Maxence he commits a very heroic act. Will Royce be pardoned? Will Juliet escape?
