Nearing her eighteenth birthday and living in the area of Edmonton Alberta Katherine begins to feel frightfully ill. As an act of impulse in fear of something terrible occurring Katherines adoptive mother Melissa and her childhood bestfriend Matt call Cleo to Katherines aid. The medic provides information to Katherines surprise and she finds her illness is only the beginning of a long and magical journey.
