Security Sector Reform: Challenges Facing Police Reforms in Kenya

This book explore the police reforms in Kenya. The reforms followed a 2007/2008 post election violence where the police were highly blamed for extra judicial killings by the commissions investigating this political violence. The reform process has been stalled by various challenges as established in this book. This books specifically explore how police perception and political will within the police leadership has been a challenge to the implementations of these key reforms.
