See Me Hear Me Know Me: The Heart of a Caregiver

A story of a senior pastor stricken with cancer and the turmoil that followed. His wife details her journey as his caregiver over the past nine years. She shares some of the things that have been helpful for her and how her faith in God has sustained her. Her husband shares from the patient perspective what the patient needs from the caregiver which in some cases is different from what the caregiver is providing. This is a story of sickness despair and hopelessness. But in the midst of it all God is faithful to keep that which has been committed to Him. The caregiver is often over looked in the pursuit of caring. The author challenges the reader to get to know the caregiver not just the duties they perform but the heart with which they carry out their daily task.
