Seeds of Destruction

<p>It was after dark and rather late when we arrived at Hotel Bernerhof so we decided to stay in our room and snack on the cheese and crackers we had brought with us from the plane. When we opened the drapes the following morning we couldn't believe our eyes! There right in front of us perfectly centered within the drapes was the picture of the lovely little Chapel in the Snow the same picture which John had taken in January 1983. the picture had turned out so beautifully we used it as the cover of our Christmas tapes that year which we gave as Christmas presents. Our room was located in the center of the hotel on the second floor right above the restaurant. It was amazing! Of all the hotel rooms in Kandersteg I wondered what would be the chances of our getting this particular room at this particular time of the year when most of the hotels were filled to capacity? One in 2000 I suppose! What a miracle!</p>
