Segmentation via Active Contour Models for Intensity Inhomogeneity

Image segmentation is the most studied problem in computer vision and image processing.This book sheds light on some solutions of intensity in-homogeneity problems based on an optimization Technics of image segmentation which called active contours.The fundamental idea is to evolve an initial curve under some constraints from a given image to detect object boundaries by minimizing energy.
