<p>Erin McAvoy is thriving-or at least she'd like to think so. A connoisseur of tacos snarky T-shirts and Pinterest projects she spends her days caring for the incredible animals at one of the country's top zoos. Life is good... except for the life-changing secret she keeps tucked away: a DNA test has revealed she's at high risk for breast and ovarian cancer. Ignoring it might be easier but time isn't on her side-if Erin wants a chance to have a baby she has to act now.</p><p> </p><p>The only constant guy in her life is Barry-a sloth (yes the animal not the personality type)-but unfortunately he's not much help when it comes to starting a family. Navigating her options is tricky especially since she grew up in a conservative household where unconventional solutions weren't exactly encouraged. And don't even get her started on the nightmare of online dating.</p><p> </p><p>Enter Xander Barnes a co-worker who's either her greatest annoyance or her greatest ally-possibly both. When Xander suggests a daring plan to help Erin get the baby she dreams of it might just be her best shot at motherhood. Her family may not approve and the path ahead is anything but simple but Erin's ready to leap into the unknown.</p><p> </p><p>Because if a leopard can change its spots so can she. And who knows?
