Self Awakening

My life has been a journey full of challenges and obstacles. I have struggled with type-2 diabetes and my wife battles with depression. My father and younger brother are both renowned doctors who practice Western medicine. Although they have dedicated their lives to treating pain and disease I have come to realize that Western medicine only addresses the physical symptoms of the body and not the entire person. In this book I take a comprehensive and complementary approach to address type-2 diabetes. I accept the best of Western medicine but I also believe that true healing comes from within. As a result I focus on awakening the self as a by-product of curing type-2 diabetes. The awakened self is a state of witnessing consciousness where the observer is observed. It is a state beyond the concept of wellness and it exists in the Vignanamayakosha. The awakened self is a state where people experience bliss joy and peace. In this book I express the supremacy of the mind over matter. The body mind matter are tools used by the awakened self to awaken oneself. To awaken the self the body and mind must be trained. A healthy ego must be created to drop the ego using traditional methods of meditation like Vipassana Kriya Yoga Yoga Pranayama Shradda Saburi creative visualizations affirmations selfhypnosis gratitude attitude habits food and breath.By creating the right paradigms we can awaken ourselvesand create an awakened world where people experiencebliss joy and peace.
