This thesis is aimed at piano teachers who work with students aged between 5 and 7. It examines whether it is possible to combine piano lessons with Ayres sensory integration therapy. A theoretical treatise on the development and relevance of the basic senses is elaborated in the thesis in order to highlight the issues involved. The work is rounded off with a practical chapter that aims to convey ideas concepts and exercises for piano lessons. This chapter provides ideas that can be implemented in both individual and partner lessons. The aim of the work is to ensure efficient child-friendly and successful piano lessons.
