<I>Separate Agendas</I> examines Anglo-American diplomatic relations in the first half of the 1950s through the use of selected case studies. The work contends that proof of the continued importance of the British Empire as a global power can be seen in the influence that London had over aspects of American foreign policy and the limits of Washington's ability to shape British policy.
