Sexuality Education for the Deaf

This book originated from my doctoral thesis which reflected my personal concern when inserted in the context of preventive education for sexuality. IST (Sexually Transmitted Infections) and AIDS I came across a specific community within our society: the deaf. If approaching the themes described with a listener population that has access to innumerable information simply by listening is already extremely challenging as I could perceive in my Master''s work one can imagine what it would be like with a population with its own characteristics and different needs regarding communication this in itself made the work intensely instigating.
