This Book Has Been Treated As Fiction Rather Than Nonfiction Although It Is Described By The Publisher As A Work Of Non Fiction And In The Introduction The Author Says The Events Surrounding This Autobiography Are Mostly Factual. They Are Based On The Drama And Experiences Encountered By Me And A Special Group Of People Beginning With The Pre-War Period Of 1940-1941 And Throughout The War Years That Followed ... The Actual Names Of The Characters Described Herein Have Been Changed Due To The Impossibility Of Obtaining Permission By The Actual Persons Since Many Have Passed On. The Author Writes About His Experiences In Australia Including Perth And Fremantle When His Regiment Was There During The War. It Contains Photographs Of People And Places Including Perth And Fremantle.
