<p>It's my passion to write poetry. After a long time I have made up my</p><p>mind to share and spread my piece of art with other readers since it</p><p>touches my heart to be able to connect with people across the world</p><p>through the complex human emotions that bind us together.</p><p>Also the subject of my work deals with topics that may be considered</p><p>taboo such as the matter of sex and the way society tries to suppress</p><p>the real feelings of an individual personality.</p><p>Moreover the concerns highlighted through the poems also include</p><p>discrimination and exploitation on the basis of gender such as</p><p>blackmailing gullible and na��ve women through digital dating apps by</p><p>exposing their intimate moments on the internet.</p><p>More abhorrent unvoiced but still rampant themes such as child sexual</p><p>abuse and the vicious repercussions that they leave on the victim have</p><p>also been stated in a downright distinct manner so that the reader</p><p>may become aware of the circumstances by which the victim becomes</p><p>reluctant to name the exact nature of wrongs that have been</p><p>committed against her/him perhaps because the culprit might be</p><p>someone known and close.</p><p>Besides the pain shame and the misery that he/she undergoes and</p><p>might have to live with all his/her life without having someone to</p><p>confide to has been depicted with the necessary despair and anguish.</p><p>Instead of name shaming and questioning the victim itself I have tried</p><p>to plead the audience to be more empathetic and supportive in order</p><p>to minimize their plight.</p><p>Also as a recovering addict I have tried to portray the road to sobriety</p><p>as clearly as possible thereby clearing common misconceptions that</p><p>still lie deep seeded within the minds of the common man. Most people</p><p>are not aware of the pain and dark emotions that propel the addict into</p><p>taking narcotics to deal with the same.</p><p>I have also made clear how the society is also responsible to a certain</p><p>extent in aiding the problems of the addict by constant name shaming</p><p>and the propagation of guilt and shame. All this for a disease that can</p><p>impact any one's life; a disease about which they don't have a choice.</p><p>On the other hand it's not just the so called grim and dark issues that</p><p>have been covered within the ambit of the stoems. You shall find plenty</p><p>of stoems covering sexuality and intimacy with a tinge of humor and</p><p>sarcasm the main context being how the physical part of the relation</p><p>acts as a critical foundation for a better meaningful bond.</p><p>All through the stoems I have been bold and emphatic in dealing with</p><p>various different genres which cannot be necessarily boxed into a one-</p><p>size-fits-all category. The tone is vigorous and undeniably insistent on</p><p>being real and honest so that we can become more open minded about</p><p>issues that need to be brought from the backburner into the limelight</p><p>simply because they are an essential component of life without which</p><p>life would be empty and meaningless.</p><p>I expect people to be able to enjoy their real desires without being</p><p>subjected to ill will and demonization. I hope all readers can savor my</p><p>writing with a pinch of salt and be able to express the same with a zeal</p><p>and enthusiasm that never fails to leave one surprised.</p><p>After all being bold is being beautiful.</p>
