Shadow War

As an Air Force officer and nuclear missile commander Captain Kathy Gelwin is not only highly respected and trusted she's dedicated nearly to a fault putting most of her personal life on the back burner in order to serve her country at Malmstrom Air Force Base Montana. <br /><br />Things change suddenly for Kathy when she stumbles across a key part of a high-tech device she isn't meant to see. She puts everything back the way she found it but with her eidetic memory it's nearly impossible for her to forget what she's seen. Kathy struggles to learn the truth behind the technology and she wrestles with who she can trust. In the meantime unbeknownst to Kathy a dissatisfied serviceman has been using his connections at Malmstrom to advance his own status with a nefarious Russian organization. <br /> <br />With every intention of destroying the American government the Russians must decipher what Kathy has seen and weaponize the technology in time to use it for the greatest impact. When Kathy and some of her closest friends begin piecing everything together it becomes a race between a patriotic team of airmen and an eager group of terrorists to decide the fate of the incoming President and the United States itself.
