Shadows and Silhouettes: Reflections on Life's Adventures

Forced to stay home during the world pandemic in 2020 Delores Wardell turned from writing novels to using the time to reflect on the people shed met and incidents stemming from her work as a clinical psychologist as well as her world travels. She realized that our lives are intertwined in curious ways and that seemingly mundane events and chance meetings can have a deeper influence than expected.This collage of life events reflects shadows of places and silhouettes of people who touched her life in some way: imperfect professionals scarred yet hopeful children in the juvenile court system tense encounters with local authorities in foreign countries a harrowing solo flight in a rented plane and even a few ghost stories and other adventures.Her lifes journey affirms that through our shared stories we may discover our commonality.
