<p>Adrian Flavell’s poetry has appeared in a number of magazines journals and newspapers. In the early 1970s he founded and edited the poetry magazine <em>Fields</em>. His first collection of poems <em>on drowning a rat</em> (Picaro Press/Ginninderra Press) was published in 2015. His written work includes environmental educational material scripts for TV’s <em>Here’s Humphrey</em> and a series of children’s books Dan’s Days – Dan aged 7 9 and 11½ (Clean Slate Press NZ). <em>shadows drag untidy</em> is his second collection of poems.</p>
