SHANHAIJING

<p>This author has presented a translation of Shanghaijing 's old text into a new translation in present day Chinese tracing the terms in the old text back to their roots in the Pu speech。 Besides restoring the historical information of geography and ethnology to their roots and doing my best in decoding the text I wish to make a statement that the long-held opinion that Yelang Guo only started to become cultured after Si Ma Xiangru arrived is not valid. The concept of culture is not decided on whether Chinese language or script had arrived。The reason why the cultures of Shang and Zhou dynasties failed to block the transmission of Shanhaijing is because the desire of the following generations of readers to know what secret information it contains between its lines.</p>
