<p>This is a book about someone growing up poor on a farm with all innocence and being thrown into a world of things never imagined at the young age of seventeen. She had no knowledge of the real world or those living in it. She was made fun of her entire life because she had homemade clothes and no money to go anywhere. But eventually she grew up and become a person of integrity. She would turn to God for guidance.</p>
