Shattered Glass

<p>They say everyone has skeletons in their closet. Mine just happen to involve an ancient relic a family legacy I didn't sign up for and a shadowy stranger with more secrets than I can count. Hi I'm Emily and until a week ago my biggest problem was whether I could afford rent. Now? I'm knee-deep in cryptic maps cursed objects and a destiny I didn't ask for. Oh and let's not forget Silas Kane-dark brooding and about as trustworthy as a snake in a suit. He claims he's here to help but the way he moves the way he looks at me? Let's just say I'm not convinced. My mother used to warn me about chasing mysteries but what if the mystery finds you first? Now the shadows of Avalon Grove are closing in and every answer leads to more questions. Who am I? What does this relic want from me? And most importantly how do I survive long enough to find out? Spoiler: I have no idea but I'll be damned if I don't try.</p>
