The author of this book Smt. Sheel Gopal is the daughter of a famous lawyer in Jaunpur Sri. Trilokinath Srivastava and Smt. Dhaneshwari Devi. She got married to Sri. Vijay Ram Bahadur Gopal (Retired Chief Engineer) of the renowned family of Sri. Mahaveer Prasad Srivastava and Smt. Ambika Devi from Prayagraj (erstwhile Allahabad). Mrs Gopal did her graduation in History Pol. Science and Hindi. She completed her Post Graduation in Pol. Science. The 84 years author has good knowledge of Musical instruments folklore and music. She has a good hold on the Sanskrit language and has a keen interest in contemplating mythological books. Her articles have been published in the famous book “Kalyan” of Geeta Press Gorakhpur. Her husband a devotee of Lord Rama inspired and motivated her to write this book which will help people at large to understand Ramayana in easily understandable language.
