Not just because she experiences symptoms of AuDHD although the government of Aldermark isn't too happy that some of it's citizens have mental illness. No Val has a secret one that the government and society in general would ostracize her for. And after finally in her 30's finding a supportive community of people who are different like her she is informed that she's been ousted. She also happens to come across intel that the president Tai Herrero is in danger Val must team up with the enemy to save Tai's life and maybe also her own in the process. </span></p>
