Shôninki

Shôninki (1681) is a historical testimony written by authentic Japanese ninja bearing witness to the strategy and philosophy of these famous warriors. After the first Shôninki translation into German in 2004 this re-edited full translation additionally features: An introduction about the general situation of Ninjutsu treatises; an extended analysis of Shôninki's background influences and author; a direct comparison to other Ninjutsu treatises like Bansenshûkai and Ninpiden; a Japanese glossary; a list of historical Ninjutsu scrolls; references of essential literature on strategy and historical Ninjutsu.
