Shooby is the Word

<p>Phil Stefanow lived to make others laugh gasp or threaten to murder him. Among the Stefanow clan he was the clown prince chief aggravator and bringer of chaos. As a child he brought our parents a new baseball card. Dad disinterested asked which player and team it was for. Phil replied The Astros got JESUS playing in the outfield! After the uproar a Spanish-speaking friend corrected us. My name for him Felipe came from the same Alou baseball brothers trio. Shooby was Phil's favorite saying from The Andy Griffith Show. When he had no opinion this was his go-to word. Despite Phil's spiteful behavior over the years he was my once-and-always best friend. This book is my best shot at honoring his legacy.
