Shots in the Bark: What your Vet isn't telling you about what's in the Shots

<p>Did you know your dog&rsquo;s (and cat&rsquo;s) vaccines last longer than 3 years? Most pet vaccines protect for a minimum of 7 to 15 years.Immunology research proved this fact decades ago. Yet many veterinarians insist on you vaccinating your dog at least every 3 years. Some even push for annual shots. But there&rsquo;s no scientific basis for these practices.</p><p>Every procedure we do to ourselves or those in our care should be a useful one or there is no reason to do it. Obvious perhaps but common sense is less and less common of late especially in the world of modern medicine.</p><p>While vaccinations may confer immunity in animals how effective or useful is it to repeat this procedure every year as is the standard recommendation in this country today?</p><p>Why are unhealthy/malnourished/sick animals vaccinated in mass-vaccination campaigns?</p><p>Why do small animals get the same dose as large ones?</p><p>Why do modern vaccines contain multi or penta-valent strains?</p><p>Why are our dogs sicker than ever with all the medical advancements?</p>
