From 1985 to 1995 he worked as a gazetted officer Class II and I in the Department of Agriculture Maharashtra after being selected by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). He joined the Government of India through the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and worked there until 2019 as a Joint Director Director Additional Commissioner in the Ministry of Agriculture and Director of Vocational Education at the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). He traveled to Israel New Zealand Malaysia and Thailand for educational cultural and religious exploration. He is also a motivational speaker and vocational education trainer.
