<p><br><strong>The Shrieking Gun Cafe serves coffee and lattes by day and eradicates ghouls and were-things by night. This niche was created by vampires being elusive from authorities and using ghouls and occasionally were-things in petty crimes.</strong></p><p><br>As business boomed Vance needed a partner while his cofounder ran the cafe front. Sure he could handle most situations on his own - he was fit fast and used his engineering skills to make weapons - but there were advantages to having a partner. Vance hired Claymore off the streets based on a gut feeling. Claymore turned out to be the perfect fit despite his abrasive personality and rough exterior.</p><p> </p><p>After life on the streets Claymore wanted something fresh something different. Stability for a change. It so happened he saw a hiring ad that brought him to the Shrieking Gun Cafe. They needed a gun for not-so-legal work as well as extra hands in the cafe front. The perks were everything he needed - housing and a stable income. </p><p><br>Off the job Claymore and Vance became close friends. They'd casually flirted for nearly a year and then it finally happened a one night stand. Now they could be friends with benefits but anything <em>else </em>needed to be set on the backburner if possible.
