Siberian Passage

<p><strong>Siberian Passage</strong> first published in 1949 is a fascinating look at the land and peoples of far northern Russia in the early 1900s. The author was a member of a Russian scientific expedition which explored the then little known boreal and arctic regions of Siberia and describes the lives of the natives they encountered travels by dog-sled dealing with the many difficulties in travel including wild extremes in temperature and provides an insightful overview of the region.</p>
