<p>After a vow of silence about another's crimes puts Catholic priest Jean-Michel Descoulis on the dark path to perdition he walks weighted by guilt to his doom. When one of Jean's parishioners tells of an artifact in the Sonora desert the priest begins to believe the artifact may spell salvation for himself and six other desperate men. How far will desperation push them?</p><p><br></p><p>Each of the six men among them a forlorn Japanese expat a fugitive former actor a disbarred lawyer and a hitman for a drug cartel have an emptiness a need.
