This Is A Heart-Warming Story Set In The Famous Seaside Resort Of Blackpool As The 1914-18 War Is Ending. It Concerns Two Families Of Boarding-House Keepers Who Are Next Door Neighbours. The Son Of One Of Them Away With The Army In France Is Engaged To The Daughter Living Next Door. When Visitors On Holiday From Yorkshire Arrive A Chain Of Events Is Triggered Which Covers A Period Of Five Years Involving Love Adultery Passion And Death. There Are Episodes In The Lake District And South Devon And For One Of The Characters There Is A Happy Ending.
