The aerial part of cassava (Manihot esculenta) is rich in protein certain vitamins and minerals and one of the best ways to preserve these nutrients is through silage as this forage serves as an alternative food source for animals during periods of scarcity. Given that this part of the plant is wasted in the field this study aims to help rural producers and professionals in the field such as agronomists zootechnicians agricultural technicians and farmers to reduce this waste as well as to lower the cost of animal feed and improve the bromatological conservation of silage.
