<p class=ql-align-justify>It all started as a very warm friendship that eventually ended in marriage; once those dotted lines were signed I was trapped and nothing on earth would have prepared me for the turmoil I was to experience.</p><p class=ql-align-justify>My ex-spouse's subtle unveiling as an abuser who thrived on control and subjection created a dark wanton aura in the home which I never understood as <strong>Domestic Violence</strong>.</p><p>This book is a non-chronological narrative which recounts the horrors of domestic violence/abuse and its adverse effects on children over and above the primary receiver: the partner. It proffers solutions on both how to cope when found in such situations and how to eventually make a safe exit for the sake of the wellbeing of the children- <strong>THE SILENT WATCHERS</strong>. </p>
