Before he came over he used to sing the <em>Star Spangled Banner</em> in elementary school. The Philippines was a United States Commonwealth. English was not his second language either. The medium of in schools and colleges is still English. The author speaks and writes English better than <em>Tagalog.</em> He also speaks dialects like <em>Ilocano Pangasinan</em> a little <em>Visayan</em> and <em>Spanish.</em> Thanks to Magellan who discovered the Philippines and was under Spain for four hundred years. <br><br>The author got overwhelmed writing his random access memoir and didn't know how to end it!
