Silver Linings : My Cancer Journey

<p>When a doctor says &ldquo;You have cancer&rdquo; the world seems to turn upside down. Worry immediately sets in. One may find themselves overwhelmed by questions like:</p><p>Will I need surgery?<br/>Will I need chemotherapy?<br/>Will I lose my hair?<br/>Will radiation hurt or burn?<br/>Will I still be able to work during treatment?<br/>Will I be able to take care of myself and my family?</p><p>Fighting cancer might be the toughest experience one ever goes through. As someone with a diagnosis it could be difficult to relay ones feelings to people whove never been through it.</p><p>The author a thyroid cancer survivor herself shares her cancer journey what helped her get through her toughest days and how is life going for her now.
