Simple Taste

Our quest to be ever more extravagant and sophisticated with our food and the explosion of outside infuences from around the globe have created a richness in our cuisine that is a joy to behold. Its been a revolution but as with every revolution there has to be a loser. In this case the loser has been the simple fare from our past. We have neglected dishes that have been around for centuries simple good rich food. This collection of over 200 recipes pays homage to this simple food. The dishes are either the old ones that have been neglected and are in need of resurrection or theyre dishes that have the same simplicity and richness at their heart. They all have a very low hassle to flavour ratio and they all tick the tasty box. Basically its how Ross likes to cook and it is in essence simple taste.
