About The Book
Description
Author
Nanoparticles (NPs) are a class of modern and versatile materials that have an extremely wide range of possible applications. This book presents first a simple technique for NP synthesis by chemical coprecipitation. Simple procedures for measuring the rheological properties of a nanofluid and several techniques for NP size characterization as DLS XRD and AFM are presented as well. When diluted in aqueous solution a large variety of NPs aggregate fast. A section of this book deals with NP aggregation dynamics and with several simple techniques as DLS and SLS that can be used for NP aggregation monitoring. The concepts are presented in a simple and straight manner with simple experimental setups therefore this book should be considered as entry level for somebody interested in NP synthesis and characterization as undergraduate and graduate students.
