This book discusses research findings on the use ofsimulations in eLearning. It is shown that thebenefits of using simulations in eLearning affect notonly motivation but also cognitive social andemotional levels. Special emphasis is put on theaspect of gender and the remarkable differencesbetween boys' and girls' preferences in simulationsand games. In addition recommendations for thecareer simulation of the SITCOM project arepresented.
