<p>Principled stubbornness lands freelance investigative journalist Debra Ann Wynn in deep trouble. Her father's deathbed request to return secretive letters found at the Wynn family gravesite has turned deadly. The letter writer admits seeing three people move a dead body while he was robbing a notorious con man and his missing wife's home; now the thief's corpse has been dumped in a downtown alley. Coincidentally Debra Ann's old basketball coach has been killed with all of the earmarks of a professional hit.
