SIX MONTHS' HACKING or Six Years Hacking Six Months Aint No Sentence

These works or hacks were created through a process of immersion into the great protean poem/texts of Six Months Aint No Sentence by Jim Leftwich. Leftwich's texts served as a source of hidden or explicit content structure resonance or echoing of other texts by other people from my own experience of words and phrases chosen as if from a randomly consulted dictionary words which caught my attention and were reflective of my own themes and manias; all of which resulted in these new and quite different text/poems which are also quite different from anything else I've written because they are resonant of Leftwich's originals often in ways that are not obvious. The result for me is a unique complex multi-voiced and fascinatingly mysterious corpus of writing.- John M. Bennett
