Skills-based training by VTCs - a necessity in curbing unemployment.

Given the alarming high unemployment rate of 27.4% as indicated by recent literature review coupled with a lack of sufficient manpower form just a few VTCs plus the level of quality of skills – based training to ensure secured employability within the employment sector has prompted the researcher to carefully and analytically interrogate the status quo of VTCs pertaining to their input on curricula and governance issues needed to engage stakeholders in curtailing the said unemployment rate.
