Skipper From the Prairies to the Mountains tracks the author's life long journey from small town Minnesota to Arizona with a couple of oceans and numerous stops on the way. Growing up in Dovray and Pipestone Minnesota followed by education at St. Olaf College and Harvard Business School went a long way toward shaping the life of Gilmore Tostengard. This book relates many of his memories and expounds on his fundamental beliefs and worthy values. He obviously takes pleasure in recalling many happy and exciting events and so many wonderful people both family and friends who have touched his life.
