When drawing Sasha Vlad proceeds from concentrating on the automatic free flow of unsuspected stimuli while Dan Stanciu observes the completed image in a kind of creative hypnosis allowing enigmatic and explosive messages to speak by themselves. The inspiration for the stories to the given drawings works like an alpinist's hook in a rock: where there was nothing but vertical wall a simple concentration creates a firm foothold for the safe ascent to the realm of spontaneous imagination.-Bruno Solařík from the Commentary
