slow leak

slow leak is the first chapbook released by Matt Coonan. In this short collection of poems Coonan explores themes of mental health toxic masculinity and death. He slips us tight narrative snapshots of a kid's response to trauma and how that manifests over time. Each poem unearths the pain of a troubled human psyche and reading becomes a lesson in discovery--a quest to find the leak and patch it with tools found along the way.
