Small Scale Enterprise

Poverty and unemployment are critical issues that Ethiopia is struggling to combat through the injection of small scale enterprise (SSE). There has been a growing awareness that SSEs are important for economic growth for both developing and developed countries. They are seen as the engines of employment alleviating poverty and improving equality. SSE development was identified as a priority in creating jobs with the intention of addressing unemployment and poverty thereby bringing economic growth. However they are influenced by several factors. The fundamental objective of this book is the critical analysis of the determinants of profitability of small scale enterprises in Bahir Dar Ethiopia.
