Snakebait Loves Shortbread

<p>Heath was a nonstop pest king of pranks and detention-loving jerk during all our high school years. And now after twenty-three years of no contact he wants to reconnect with me to prove that he is a changed man. And that I no longer need to see him as an enemy but as a potential soulmate.</p><p><br></p><p>I'm paranoid since I just found out that we are in the same wedding party which means another humiliating incident is surely on its way. How can I look past the barrage of bad memories? I still feel like a sitting duck in the line of pranking fire.</p><p><br></p><p>But the thing is that I'm feeling stuck and craving a new adventure in life. And it goes without saying that Heath was the embodiment of adventure--not to mention very cute. I'd be a fool to deny him that... or am I just falling for another trap?</p><p><br></p>
