Snowflakes & Ashes

<p>"Snowflakes and Ashes" is what happens when you reach a certain age have a certain number of joys and heartaches that inevitably come to everyone and start to wonder what some of it might mean. Steve Jobs said once about our lives that we can't connect the dots looking forward. It's only later after the journey has a few miles on it that one can look back and begin to draw some conclusions and see the patterns that are usually invisible at the time. Some things you know but some things are surprises. I wrote this out of the jumble of my own life but have the conceit that my experiences and accidental insights are probably similar to some of yours. I hope so. Solitary journeys are kind of lonely. Glad to have some company.</p>
