This research was conducted to investigate socio–economic and demographic correlation of Students academic performances in Lagos State University Ojo. The research adopted survey research method and collected data from a sample size of 182 students drawn from 8 faculties. The instrument of data collection was questionnaire and interview method. The study found that socio-economic status (SES) of students’ parent has significant effect on their academic performance. Also there is no significant difference between the academic performance of undergraduates from advantage background and those from disadvantage background. The study however recommended that government should provide financial aid to undergraduates from low socio-economic status.
