It integrates the ethical aspects of the subject (discussing potentially desirable conditions for social judgments) with positive aspects of decision mechanisms that center on the revelation of true preferences. The book draws together the work of a great many papers in a common notation pointing out interrelations that are often missing in specialist papers.
