Social fears in an inter-paradigmatic perspective:

In this book the theme of fear was approached from an interdisciplinary perspective. We tried to understand the social fears of the Portuguese through their perceptions and representations.A qualitative methodology was used: 77 individuals were interviewed among whom there was a tendency towards certain types of fear such as fear of unemployment. Age does not seem to link types of fear that we at first thought were characteristic of older age groups: fear of loss fear of loneliness or fear of failing family members.
