Social Leadership on Social Empowerment

Social leadership means to devote one’s life and talents from a leading position to improving society in all its aspects regardless of social standing wealth gender or privilege and taking everybody (strong or weak) along using democratic means to transcend beyond the limited physical realities especially towards its higher level of meaning relationship calling action integrity learning and a life of freedom with an aim of providing an emancipated and empowered life for all members of the society for whom the leader promised empowerment. ‘SOCIAL’ here stands for the acronym of Submission Oneness Calling Integral Education Action and Liberty. These six variables together constitute the meaning of social leadership. Since the leadership is attributed with these values it is known as social leadership.The book explores the ultimate traits of a good social leader and to understand the complex gamut of social leadership that brings about social empowerment. Along with those six values Managerial functions Big 5 personality traits and 10 socialization traits were added to design to questionnaire to find the social leadership traits for social empowerment.
